I think this is the first time I've been properly able to appreciate this song. Maybe it's because it's 4:06AM, and the song's the only thing I really want to listen to, with it being really mellow and all, but in any case, this song sounds better now that any other time I ever listened to it. But I think I really love this song right now just for the fact that it reminds me of Di, 'cause I really miss her right now. But hey, I'll see her tomorrow, since it technically is Monday now.
These holidays were a great break from the damn exams. I did absolutely NO work until around Tuesday, when I actually started reading the book I had for English. Weird shit, that. David Malouf can really string words together, but I was just reading it to get through it, so he could've spouted a bunch of two word-sentences and I still wouldn't have given a crap. Anyways, that's finished now, so no need to bother about English until Wednesday. I should've really collected more newspapers for Religion. Just needed to collect articles and write about them. I'll start collecting as soon as school starts, lucky it's due week 3 . Spent most of last night/this morning doing Economics, and a bit of Physics, just because I've left it all until now. As a matter of fact, I just finished printing my Economics work a couple of minutes ago. I couldn't be bothered critically analysing crap, so I left the last question. Oh well, it's only Eco. Plus, I can't help but feel like I'm missing something for Physics.
For some reason, I'm quite neutral about going back to school. Usually I'm either really psyched about going back, or I'm really bummed about it. This time around, I'm neither. I don't really mind going back, it'll be good to get back into my study habits.
That'll be a tad hard, though, considering that my cousin's finally flying in this Wednesday morning. She was supposed to arrive LAST Sunday, but some stupid problem with Visas and such. Oh well, better late than never. Too bad she missed my holidays! She'll be here in time for my birthday, though, so it's all good. Apparently, I'm getting the Nirvana 3CD set, along with a Best of The Eraserheads CD, so I'm REALLY psyched about those . In any case, it's 4:20AM, and I think I should get some sleep. Well, either sleep or PS2, I haven't really made up my mind. Anyways, later days!

P.S. Marty misses Di...
New Labrador Retriever puppy...
Well, just got back a while ago from somewhere in Doonside, with a brand new Labrador Puppy. It's been nearly 13 weeks since MJ died, and my folks said it's about time we got a new dog, and as such, we now have LeBron. I called him that 'cause he wasn't really a Golden Retriever, so I felt he was more bronze than gold. And since the US team only took bronze in Athens, I decided to name him Bron.
Getting a new dog kinda scares me though. I mean, he's so cool and everything, it's just that for nearly 13 weeks, I've pretty much gotten accustomed to not having a dog, and not having to deal with the responsibilities of having one. Well, now that we've got LeBron, I have to readjust again, and frankly, part of me doesn't want to, not for now at least.
In any case, LeBron's here, and I've just gotta deal with it, right? I mean, I've always said I wanted a Labrador puppy, and now I've got one. Just never realised getting a pet was such a big deal. Oh well, bet this uncertainty fluctuates over the next couple of days, as usual. Well, I've got a driving lesson pretty early (7-8AM, in the freakin' holidays...altogether now:) tomorrow, so I've gotta get some sleep. Anyways, later days!

EDIT: My brother came home at around 1AM last night, and in his infinite wisdom, wanted to rename the dog Carmelo. Bron, in retaliation, proceeded to shit all over his room, and the computer room. We decided to stick with the name Bron.

Finally!
Yep, finally! It only took me approximately 14 months, but I've finally got my own working iPod! Story begins February 14, 2004. Mum comes home with a brand-spankin' new iPod for me, one of the early edition ones. Now, for some weird reason, the damn thing wouldn't work. No matter what I tried, it just wouldn't work. Not that I tried especially hard, but still, the piece of shit wouldn't work. (Actually, there's a secret reason why it wouldn't work that I don't feel comfortable divulging here. Not that anyone ever reads this, but just in case...) Anywho! After numerous (and by numerous, I mean 'a few') attempts to get it to work, I couldn't be bothered anymore, so I just left it. Well, anyways, Fonz got his limited edition U2 iPod sometime ago, and as it goes in my family, if one brother gets something, the other one gets it, too. As such, I've finally got my own iPod, one that doesn't lag and doesn't suck balls, in general. April 16 is the bestest date in the world, 'cause on April 16, 2001, I got my (original) PlayStation2 . Granted, that ginormous thing's been dead since November (courtesy of Fonz), but still, good times. And now, exactly 4 years later, I've finally got my iPod! Hmm, now that the nerd in me has been somewhat appeased, I'm outta here, and goin' back to my sugar habit. Anyways, later days!

The silence gets us nowhere...
^^^ Staind - For You ^^^
Kinda mellow tonight. Just came from my cousin's house, praying for her grandfather, who passed away at 3:25 AM. Felt really bad for her, she said she feels like she's really lost a friend. I wish I could've done something more to comfort her. Guess the best I can do is just pray for the family. He was a great guy, a great help to our family when we first got here. He was the next best thing to an actual grandfather for me, since my real grandfather was back in the Phils. He was always there for us, and he will be dearly missed. Anyways, later days.

P.S. Rest in Peace, Pete Olaes.

Procrastination sucks balls.
To quote JB (well, least I think it's an original JB quote. If not, I sincerely apologise to whomever may have come up with it):
"Procrastination and masturbation are the same. You end up fucking yourself."
Pretty friggin' true huh? Damn procrastination. I've probably wasted about a combined 10 hours worth of working time today. Ten freakin' hours. In that time, I could've done my English speech already, then just bludged and played PlayStation the rest of the day, but NO! I had to be an assface and piss away all my time chatting, and listening to music, and downloading, and blah and blah and blah. Now, I'm up at 1:38AM, probably not even a quarter of the way through my speech, and still having to complete my Physics portfolio and study for my 3unit Maths exam. Awesome. By the looks of the past papers for Maths, "Below State Average" isn't the right phrase to describe my forecasted results for Monday's exam. Try "Got Axed." Oh well, just one more week of exams, then I'll officially have made it through half of Year 12. It hasn't been too bad. Then again, I've always been a very lucky person, and maybe God smiled on me and gave me a relatively easy first half of Year 12. Also, speaking of God-related phenomena, sparknotes.com is a Godsend. I would have never made it through a lot of the English topics without it. Damnit, procrastinating right now! Gotta get back to English. Anyways, later days!
