Okay, so I had the most awesome weekend ever, right? It was hectic as, but hey, it was a helluva lot of fun.
Started Saturday morning (read: woke up at noon...). It was Kate's party that night, so I had to get my History journal done as early as possible before I had to get ready. So I figured I'd get a move on as soon as I woke up, right? But, me being me, I decided to surf the net for a little bit. The little bit turned out to be close to three hours. The guys were due to meet at my house at 4:30PM, and by about 3PM, I hadn't even started. But, I eventually got going, and was somehow able to get it done, despite TJ and JB being around to distract me. Anywho, eventually everyone else made it to my house, and after a bit of planning, we made our way to Kate's. The party was pretty cool; in keeping with the new trend for parties this year, plenty of jumping castle fun was had. We did a shitload of wrestling; I took pleasure in being the Insane Bump Machine for the night. Despite all the head dropping fun, I didn't get hurt, so it was a pretty successful night in that respect. Also, some little kid kept annoying us for the whole night. He was giving everyone the shits, but since he was a kid, no one could hit him. Oh well, he disappeared sometime throughout the night. Anywho, party was awesome.
Next day was even MORE awesome. Got a good four hours of sleep after the party (stayed up until 4AM to upload pics and vids and such), then went to pick up Mich from the airport. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. Anywho, stopped off at my house for lunch, then went to see the greatest concert in the history of man-fucking-kind: The Kanye West Touch The Sky Tour. FUCKING A!!!! It was fucking crazy; he went through all his hits and such, plus he even got into some of the lesser-known but still awesome songs that he produced for other people. Only complaint about the show is now everyone knows about the Roc-A-Fella Diamond. Sigh. Being a Jay-Z fan (okay, obsessee rather than fan) for more than four years now, the Diamond was a symbol of my being a Roc-A-Fella follower. Me and Fonz used to be the only two people who threw up diamonds, but alas, now every person at that concert is gonna be claiming loyalty to The Roc, even though they've probably never listened to a Jay-Z album. Sigh. But, that's insignificant when compared to the L337-ness that was the concert. Kanye rolled his ankle performing 'Addiction' and thus admitted feeling guilty over the fact that he wouldn't be able to run around as much as he used to. So, he compensated by playing a couple extra songs. Anywho, awesome fucking concert. But hey, you wait two years to see the next coming of your favourite rapper, you'd have thought it was awesome, too.
Sigh. One thing about the weekend though. As awesome as all that stuff was, would've been a lot more awesome if it meant I didn't miss out on talking to a certain someone. =P (Stupid ugly Multiply emoticons.) Anyways, later days!
