Okay, so I was walking out of Randwick Racecourse after my Psych exam today with Goodnight and Go blasting in my earphones, right? Then it hit me: I'm finally done with the first semester of Uni! Well, it officially ended two weeks ago, but I wanted to wait until after exams before actually celebrating.
Anywho, I'm pretty stoked about having four weeks to chillax. The coolest thing is probably how sleeping late is now voluntary rather than compulsory. Now, 4AM bedtimes happen 'cause I'm chatting or watching TV, instead of cramming or frantically trying to conclude an essay.
Anyways, my exams weren't nearly as bad as I'd imagined. Funnily enough, even though Psych's my major, it was the exam I worried the least about, and with good reason: it was a three-hour multiple choice exam that I finished in 90 minutes. Hope I didn't underestimate it though, and hopefully I end up with at least a credit average. If the deities of fate would look kindly upon me, I'd end up with a distinction average, but that might be asking a bit too much.
Anywho, the other two exams were pretty okay as well. Maths was fun; three-hour exam, right? Took two hours to finish the first section, leaving me with a generous hour to finish the last part. After finishing the first half of section two, I had twenty minutes left on the clock. Me being me, I accidentally thought I had an HOUR and twenty minutes. Brilliant. Go Mart! The biggest surprise was Micro; it was definitely easier than I had imagined. The 'essay' questions weren't really essays, but more like short answer questions, which definitely took a load off. So here's hoping I passed both those courses as well. Anywho, it's 1:47AM, and I've got a DVD-searching appointment tomorrow with the guys, so I guess I'm off to bed. Oh, and the wonders of being spoiled: the parents are buying me a 60Gb Video iPod tomorrow. Awesome. Anyways, later days!

P.S. Added some pics from my party that Fonz took with his cam. Funny how there's always typical Filo photos during parties, i.e. the 'under-the-birthday-marquee' photo, the 'stand-next-to-the-party-food' pic, etc.

Name: Marty
Age: 18 (Finally.)
Currently listening to: Rammstein - Du Hast
Next 5 songs on playlist: Breaking Benjamin - Blow Me Away; In Flames - The Quiet Place; Metallica - Enter Sandman; The Dillinger Escape Plan - Unretrofied; Rammstein - Keine Lust (Realised I lost my "Heavy, Sorta" playlist CD, so I had to make an updated one.)
Current addiction(s): Hot Hot Heat (It's winter, so it's only natural that I need some heat. Seriously, I think this might be the first time that I've ever described a band as addictive, but dangnammit, they are.); the word "flossin' " (Or as the whole phrase goes, "IIIIII stay flossin' in tha candeh paynte, blowin' dank, suppin' drank, tearin' up them laynes! MIKE JONES, MIKE JONES!" Multiply needs a ROFL emoticon.); the NBA Playoffs (I know basketball's been a lifelong addiction, but this is one of those years when I can't help but check the scores whenever there's a game on, even when I'm in the middle of a lecture. Actually, ESPECIALLY when I'm in the middle of a lecture.); downloading music videos (If I ever get an iPod video, then these should come in handy.)
Currently salivating in anticipation of: Uni holidays (YAYYYY!! I've almost made it through a semester of Uni! My last exam's on June 22; next semester starts July 24. Which means, it's almost PARTY TIME! Well, after study time anyways.); Death Cab concert; The NBA Finals (the Heat are in!)
Productivity level over last two days: Minimal (Okay, minimal's generous. Let's try, "highlighted-seven-pages-for-Psych-then-procrastinated-for-24-hours." There, that should do it.)
Work that should've been done yesterday: Prepared History responses for class tests next week (No biggie though; I tallied up my marks, and I've already passed the course. Damn, if only it were my major.)
Important things for today: 3rd of the month; Mich takes her SAT (GOOD LUCK!!!)
Anyways, later days!
