Inauspicious beginning came in the form of missing the train. Aaaaand, that was probably the only thing that went wrong today. It wasn't even that bad; I only missed about five to ten minutes of the lecture. Negligible.

Music played a big role in putting me in a good mood. I'm gonna summarise the first part of this in three albums and one hero: College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation. Kanye West. I didn't even bother with the fast-forward button. G.O.O.D. Music.

The other musically-related reason for my good mood? August 18, 2008. The Enmore Theatre. Death Cab for Cutie returns to Sydney. I get to see my favourite band in concert again. Hells yes, pleeeeease.

Two other big things happened today, both revolving around the figure 86.6667%. I got my second Class Test back for Stats. Seeing as I was on a sub-Credit average for the first quarter of the course, this HD (putting me three marks away from a Distinction) comes with a huge, RD-sized sigh of relief.

As an addendum, I also got my Human Rights Essay back today. 86.6667%. Again. More importantly, I'm sitting on 39/45 for the course. I only need 11/55 for the rest of the course in order to pass. Pressure, say good night. Y'all don't want it with Mart. NOOOOOOO!

But wait! There's more! An ubermegagiant bonus: the Lakers took a 3-1 lead today, narrowly escaping Game 4 in San Antone. We're a win away from being back in the Finals for the first time in four years. I was gonna gush about that fact, but I believe in jinxes, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the Lakers. Let's take care of fucking business.

Anywho, it's been a GREAT day. If I had some quality Ange-time today, it could have been PERFECT. But hey, that's not how it works. And I'm not complaining. I'm too happy to complain. Anyways, over and out!
