CP3 makes a good point.

Reading a Chris Paul feature in a recent issue of SLAM, I came across a quote that stuck with me as soon as I read it. As the topic of his rapid ascension into the NBA stratosphere came about, CP responded with:

"A lot of times I have to pinch myself, but to tell you the truth, I try not to. I just try to keep going, because sometimes if I take that second to stop and see what's going on, it catches up with you."

I should really adopt that kind of thinking in my life. Not because I've been immensely successful at something and therefore need to keep myself in check. In my case, when it comes to life, the little things and the not-so-little things, sometimes you just have to accept them for what they are, and not let yourself get caught up in analyzing the How and Why.

Keep it simple, stupid. Don't make life harder for yourself by painstakingly going through every aspect of your life, from the minute to the mammoth. If I can master this mindset this year, I'll have accomplished something. Because, as it currently stands, my type of thinking could do me in.

P.S. Honestly, no pun intended about the title for this entry.

P.P.S. Hypocrisy, at its finest, is immensely fun.

END COMMUNICATION.
